Peter Kemp IEng. SOE
IRTE- Senior Partner
Peter is the Senior
Partner in Birmingham ICT Practice and Director of VBS Support Limited.
With a background in the Motor Industry, Peter has worked with truck
manufacturers and retailers developing Asset Management and After Market
solutions, including Truck Sales, Hire, Leasing and Maintenance systems.
This fully integrated business system is known as the Vehicle Business
System (VBS) and is the backbone system for many vehicle operators. His
belief in the need for an unbiased general practice in computing, led him
to start the Birmingham ICT Practice.
“My aim is to create
a centre of excellence with the broadest possible range of skills and
services in ICT, offering customers a unique choice opportunity to obtain
the best solutions for their ICT needs”.
Mark Starr BA Award
Wining Web Designer and Project Manager
Mark originally from
Wolverhampton has worked within the IT industry for 18 years, initially
for GKN Technology Ltd where he looked after their computer systems and
network. He then was involved in Web Development at Eversheds LLP where he
held the position of Web Development Manager. His team designed and built
the Eversheds web site which went on to win numerous awards for both
design and use of technology.
In addition to Mark's awards in design, he is also a qualified Prince2
Practitioner in Project Management with a number a large enterprise scale
projects completed on time and to budget.
Stephen Welch B Sc. (Hons), AMBCS.
Hardware - Microsoft Certified Engineer
Stephen is a Microsoft Certified Engineer committed
to providing an exceptional service based upon use of technical expertise
with a customer focus.
Stephen is very familiar with a number of school
networks and completely understands the technical requirements when it
comes to security and the desktop environment for students and teachers
and the techniques needed to provide these essential elements. He also has
strong experience in many areas of the commercial sector, not just ICT,
and believes that this has given him a broad skill set which, he can apply
to the opportunities and environments which exist in schools and SME’s
today. As a director of InvICTus Technology he is also supporting
Teachers directly in the classroom by assisting them with integrating ICT
into the curriculum.
Tirath Rai
ICT Security
Tirath is a technical IT security specialist. Over 7
years of working at the highest level mean that Tirath is perfectly at
home with the most demanding projects and clients. Tirath started
his professional life in Brussels, at the heart of Europe where he
achieved NATO security clearance for working on sensitive projects.
Tirath focuses on penetration testing, sometimes
referred to as ethical hacking. His skills and experience have been called
upon by some of the worlds leading banks, airlines and telecoms firms.
Additionally, having worked on behalf of federal law enforcement Tirath is
in the top tier of specialists in his field. As well as being active in
penetration testing for Tirath contributes to the wider security industry.
He has formally published a security advisory and assisted in writing and
taught a 5-day ethical hacking course. The course has been well received
in the US, Europe and the Middle East.
